OPEN PARK HAUS (One-on-One Conversations)

  • ZK/U Siemensstraße 27 10551 Berlin Germany (map)

OPEN PARK HAUS in August will be part of Ortstermin 2020, an art festival in Moabit and Hansaviertel. Inspired by this year’s theme, This Far and No Further, ZK/U (Center for Arts & Urbanistics) has chosen to gaze back at its history and reflect upon its context within Stadtgarten Moabit, the public park surrounding it.

As custodians of one parcel in the community garden within Stadtgarten, we will share our story about growing an educational pollinators’ garden. What is a pollinator? Who are these varied critters? Why is what they do so important? And what can you do to attract and protect them? These topics and more will be discussed with anyone curious enough to visit us in the Willkommen Bestäuber + Nützlinge Gärten.

Per the format of the event (and respecting coronavirus social-distancing), guests are invited to sign up for 15-minute one-on-one conversations with us and other “neighborhood experts” scattered around the grounds on a first-come, first-served basis. Although the event lasts from 15h–20h, we will only be available from 15h–18h on both days. There will also be art, live music, workshops, food and drinks, and other activities during OPEN PARK HAUS.

Registration is required in advance due to corona restrictions. More information at OPEN PARK HAUS and ZK/U.
