Our founder, Steve Rogenstein, will give a talk, “Urban Beekeeping: the Bees of Berlin,” during the online V Jornada de Apicultura Urbana y Huertos Urbanos conference (originally scheduled for 21 March 2020 in Málaga, Spain). In preparation, he interviewed beekeepers, leaders of bee clubs, scientists, government representatives, and veterinarians, as well as issued an online survey for Berlin-based beekeepers, in order to learn more about the facts, trends, regulations, perceptions, challenges, and visions for apiculture in the city.
